Floof DK has been spun using an acrylic core that has been shrunk with heat to trap the baby alpaca fibres. Accordingly, the yarn will knit up in a similar way to merino and won’t stretch out of shape which is a quirk of alpaca yarns. It is also less likely to pill or to shed. The yarn is super soft and a joy to knit with and to wear. You can use it as a substitute for any pattern that requires a merino DK weight yarn.

Gentle hand wash in warm water.
