Semi-woolen, 3 ply

We hand select fleeces from local flocks of dairy sheep (hence ‘Pastoral’), primarily East Friesian. This lofty, sturdy yarn is as local as it gets - grown by a flock of East Friesian dairy sheep in the Skagit Valley, and processed in the Skagit Valley. We dye it in the lock and blend it for a beautiful heathered effect. This yarn can do it all - sweaters, colorwork, hats. Its plump 3-ply construction gives it great stitch definition. Think cables or texture too.

We’ve lightened up the weight of this a smidge for a truer DK weight; previous batches will still work with this batch, but please be aware of the difference
