Meet SYLPH, our new Suri base!

If Undine, named for the water nymphs, is our summer yarn here at Ritual Dyes, Sylph is it’s wintery sister. A sylph is a spirit of the air -- one that takes many forms, like drifting clouds or streams of light. We -- along with our test knitters and sample knitters and designers -- have been working on and perfecting Sylph for what feels like ages. It has been so hard not to sing its praises all year!

Fluffy and a little gauge flexible, Sylph is a Suri Alpaca & Merino blend, hand dyed by us here in the Ritual Dyes studio. It loves colorwork and garments that you will wear close to your skin. The beauty of Sylph is in how lightweight and soft it feels, like wearing a halo of golden hour light. This base is custom milled -- a Ritual Dyes exclusive! -- and feels so so dreamy.
