Merino Tweed
Perhaps our most beautiful yarn - a lovely one-ply tweed yarn in sober, sophisticated colors. It is so beautiful and fragile in appearance, while the tweed effect gives it an organic and robust appearance. We do not think it is possible to knit something you are not happy with in this yarn, and we sometimes surprise ourselves finding new touches of surprising colors as we look at the finished garments.
The yarn is quite defined, as it is not completely processed, and must be rinsed before use. This makes it very nice to knit with, and after rinsing the wool fibers are released and it becomes incredibly soft. The yarn is also ideal when held double.
