Önling No. 5 is our extraordinary yarn from Japan, made from the luxury fibres silk, cashmere, alpaca, and wool. The colors are tweed like with small specks.

25% silk, 10% cashmere, 10% alpaca, and 55% wool.

Sold in 50 g balls.

50 g = app. 109 yards (100 meters).

Suitable for needle size: US 8 - 10 (5 - 6 mm).

Gauge at US size 10 (6 mm) needles: 14 sts x 21 rows.

Even though this is a chunky yarn, the combination of silk, cashmere, alpaca and wool make it very light and not too warm for an everyday sweater. We absolutely love this yarn, and wear sweaters with flecks all the time…
