As you work with this versatile yarn, you’ll find it ideal for creating cozy sweaters, classic cardigans, soft shawls, and stylish accessories. The magic doesn’t stop at the final stitch - after the first soak / wash, your finished garment evolves, becoming even softer and more comfortable.
For those seeking extra versatility, try blending Önling no 16 with Önling no 10 to achieve an incredibly soft, light, and durable fabric. Whether you’re crafting warm wraps, textured accessories, or any project that calls for a rustic look with a luxuriously soft feel, Önling no 16 delivers a perfect balance of classic tweed aesthetic and modern comfort.
Yarn on cones:
This yarn is spun on a cone and it’s a good idea to keep it on a yarn holder when knitting to prevent it from rolling around. For best results, soak the finished knitted garment in lukewarm water for about 2 hours to allow the yarn to open up and become even more soft and lovely.
NOTE: The yarn is spun from a single thread and has have a tendency to twist a bit, and therefore we do not recommend that you use this yarn for stockinette knitting in the round. The yarn does not twist if you knit stockinette back and forth.
