Our Steadfast yarn base is perfect for socks but also wonderful for garments, shawls and other accessories, including baby-wear. It is a soft, plump yarn with extra strength from the nylon.

Please note that from July 2023 we are transitioning to a yarn base supplied by a different mill. The composition remains the same but the meterage has increased from 357m to 400m.

Mrs Peacock Yarns are all hand-dyed in small batches using professional wash-fast acid dyes. As with all hand-dyed yarn there may be slight colour variation between skeins, even those dyed in the same batch as each skein is unique. If you are using more than one skein in a project we suggest you alternate skeins every couple of rows for a more consistent look.

We recommend hand washing in cool water with a pH neutral wool wash to give your item the longevity it deserves.
