Say hello to Fermata, one of our most luxurious yarns ever! In musical terminology, a fermata is defined as “a pause of unspecified length on a note or rest.” We chose to name this yarn “Fermata” because you’re going to want to hold onto this skein forever!

This incredible blend of alpaca and silk, which are both light and airy with beautiful drape, combines seamlessly with the addition of linen. Linen is a really special fiber with incredible shape memory, making it perfect for lacework. It also doesn’t absorb dyes the same way as alpaca and silk so in most colorways it is left white, giving an amazing heathered effect.

Please note: Due to the linen content, you may experience some slight color bleeding, especially during washing. If you plan to use this in a multi-color project, prewashing is strongly suggested as a precaution.
