This top-quality yarn is made of 100% fine Peruvian Highland Wool. In the Peruvian Andes sheep live at altitudes higher than 2000 metres above sea level. These crossbred animals derive from Merino and Corriedale breeds. Peruvian Highland Wool is dry, crumpy and durable. The wool used for LANGYARNS CRUCERO is a selection of the finest fibres and has an average fibre diameter of 24,5 microns. Once the fibres have been spun, the yarn is hand dyed.
