The yarn is knit at a looser gauge than normal for lacy, floaty effects. Size 11 to 15 US are the standard for shawl projects. Yarn is sold with kits, and is wound off in the amounts necessary for each project, so yardage may vary. Please adjust yardage of your skeins at the stash level.

From the website’s owner, Jill Vosburgh: “My mohair boucle is approximately 147.6 yards per ounce. Full hanks vary in yardage and weight, so I haven’t put them on my site yet. They vary from 8 to 10 ounces”.
