This farm yarn will likely bloom to worsted weight after a good bath before knitting. Update: My yarn went from 11WPI in the skein to 9 WPI after a good soaking. You really must bathe this yarn before knitting with it.

This is from Susan’s note to shareholders:

“The yarn you received is a light worsted weight. Every 4 ounces of yarn equals approximately 200 yards of yarn. So the larger 8 ounce skeins contain 400 yards. The smaller skeins weigh approximately 3 ounces so they are approximately 150 yards.”
