This cashmere blended with silk has a lot of the prized qualities of the antique Shetland 2 ply in lightness, fineness, softness and halo once dressed , but is more robust- yes, it stands a gentle, skilled handwashing. It knits extremely smoothly - like a dream in fact - with a remarkable drape and handle. Without a doubt, this rarest yarn is for the most prestigious projects, and a little goes a long way!

Hand wash only. This yarn will ‘bloom’ a little when first washed which will produce a woollen halo. Try a tiny swatch first to judge effects after dressing, it is truly like holding knitted air.
