The sheep for this yarn are of several different races and live in northern Bavaria in the “Rhön”, where their shepherds work with them in nature conservation (“Natur- und Landschaftspflege” in German). No mulesing. The people from Frankenwolle visit the farms on shearing day.
All steps of yarn production are made in Germany.
