I created this yarn to be a natural and locally sourced alternative to a lot of the more commercial wool/nylon sock blends. The base of this yarn is Border Leicester wool and mohair. The mohair was added as a more natural, local and sustainable replacement for the nylon you find in most sock yarns.

I mill this yarn here on site in small batches and often I also dye in small batches. If you do not see the colors you want in stock or would like to mix and match colors (i.e. the main color to be dyed) please feel free to email and I will do my best to accommodate whenever I can.

The Border Leicester for this yarn was grown in Prineville, OR.

The mohair for this yarn was grown in Carlton, Oregon.
