This soft, dreamy yarn is such a joy to work with and wear - it creates a warm, fluffy, and drapey fabric which can feel heavy to work with but is still lovely and light to wear. The gentle sheen shows through the alpaca fluff, meaning that stitch definition is not crisp but is still visible.

Although it is spun as a standard thickness aran yarn, being baby alpaca/silk means that it is fine and can be worked at tighter gauge than you might normally expect for an aran yarn. However in testing it worked well for us at a good range of gauges in both knitting and crochet.
