Made from superfine, ethical merino grown in the high midlands of Tasmania, this is a worsted-spun, 17 micron 4-ply, with lots of loft and elasticity (hence the relatively long meterage). It is extremely soft, and can be worn next to the skin. Being non-superwash, it will felt, but does so rather reluctantly (and with beautiful results, if that is what you’re after!), but is certainly safe to hand wash and block without fear of felting.
