This multicolored fabric rope is made using muslin cotton saree scraps. It is a 1-ply yarn.

The cord is made with new soft quality muslin cotton saree fabric scraps which remains from my fabric shop. The fabric strips are cut, joined and then handspun creating a single ply twist.

Unlike other saree ribbon yarns. I have meticulously strips of fabric with my own hands from long sarees, one at a time. This yarn has been washed to create a brushed, feathery texture. Due to its handmade nature, there will be some unevenness which is the beauty of all handmade things.

This type of cordage is used mostly for fiber crafts such as Crochet, Knitting, Gift wrapping, Basketry, Weaving, Jewelry making, Macramé and other DIY crafts.
