This Irish yarn is produced in County Kilkenny. It is made from 50% Irish Cheviot wool and 50% New Zealand Lamb. Each colour is a unique dye - made from up to 9 colours - so you won’t see these colours anywhere else.

Raveller’s note on care/washing:

The wool is machine washable at 40 degrees C, and it softens when it is washed. I have tried to felt the wool at 60 degrees C. While the fibres did start to matt, you could still see the stitches. It is very hardwearing and so far I have seen no evidence of it balling (pilling).
