Sommarnatt yarn is spun from the finest of lambswool from Swedish Finewool sheep plus angora wool from my own bunnies - at least a year’s worth of angora cuttings!

It is perfect for making colourwork mittens, half-mittens, cowls or hats, or perhaps a yoke sweater!

Gauge, needles 2.5 mm or US 1½: 28 stitches x 48 rows = 10 cm or 4 inches

The name is Sommarnatt, as it reminds me of the midnight sun nights in Sweden; light but dimmed, air filled with a silent mist softening all contours - just like the angora halo will do for garments made of this yarn!

About the wool used:

The angora wool is from my own bunnies.

The lambswool is from the fall shearings of two farms keeping Swedish Finewool sheep.
