This soft and bouncy heavy fingering/light sport weight yarn is spun with heartfelt thanks to the rich pastures of America’s rolling hills, meadows, and mountains, and the domestic sheep tending them. Through grazing, ranchers and sheep alike have cared for our public and private lands for over a century. In recent years, however, flocks have been banned from grazing on public forestry lands, causing some ranches to go out of business. This and other serious land issues have domestic sheep at high risk of decline and endangerment. Domestic wool is on the fringe. I vote to make space for sheep. Knit on, America.
