Crochet: Baby Blanket
This mixed-media blanket uses basic sewing and crochet skills to make squares which are assembled into a blanket and then edged with crochet. It is a great way to use up fabric scraps and leftover yarn for a scrappy, patchwork blanket, or you can indulge in a cohesive pre-cut fabric charm pack and coordinating yarn for a more intentional design.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These sweet mitts are a companion pattern for the Dreamy Josephine Hat. A simple cable pattern makes them fun to knit (but not too hard), while giving them a nice structure. Make them a solid color or use up your leftovers.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
Simple, traditional granny squares spun on their axels create the interesting geometry of this adorable hat. Self-striping yarn does all of the color-work for you. Simply sized through the use of different hook sizes, you can easily make one for yourself and all your friends. Makes a great gift!
Knitting: Afghan block
Use a smorgasboard of crafts to create a cozy and useful up-cycled blanket. Felting, embroidery, knitting and crochet are all mixed up and served buffet-style; use as much knitting or as much crocheting as you like to make your piece unique and fabulous.
Crochet: Legwarmers
This pattern includes the instructions for both the knit and crochet version of the design.

Crochet: Beanie, Toque
Dainty crochet lace cuddles with a super soft knit hat keep you warm and cozy on a blustery day. The layers provide extra insulation, while the delicate lace overlay keeps your hat from looking thick and chunky. The hat is reversible as well; choose the side best suited to your winter wardrobe each day.
Crochet: Coaster
This project is an ideal way to try felting for the first time and is ideal for crochet beginners. These adorable coasters make and excellent gift - especially when stacked and adorned with a ribbon or crochet chain.
