Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
I was asked some months ago to create a piece for a fashion show. It was so fun to let go and create an unusual garment that is still wearable.
Knitting: Beret, Tam
This has been the year of the Beret/Tam, so we designed this easy and stylish hat to wear to our annual mini fiber fest. It starts with an i-cord brim, then stitches are picked up, and away you knit! It’s so light and squishy, you can wear it all year round.
Crochet: Brimmed Hat
Find your inner Audrey and make this fun and versatile year round hat! Dress it up for evening, or down with a pair of jeans, this bucket hat works with any styling!
Crochet: Sleeveless Top
I designed this top after becoming obsessed with clothing designs from Mexico. Being of Mexican, Mexican Indian, Spanish and Italian decent, these shapes and colors seep from my DNA. I made this just to see if I could, so it’s more of a recipe. But many people have asked for a pattern, so here it is.
Crochet: Brimmed Hat
This hat is crocheted in a spiral from the top down, creating holes in the body as you go. A length of curled crochet is made separately and woven through the holes to gather the pleats. The hat is then blocked flat to set the pleats.
Knitting: Headband
Express your inner Frida with this fun and festive headpiece! The roses are attached to a braided (like hair) headband. You can personalize it with all the colors of the rainbow!
Knitting: Cape
This lightweight cape is perfect for chilly nights. It is knitted from the bottom up with little shaping. Collar is picked up after the body is bound off, allowing for more structure. You can make it longer and wider by adding more stitches.
Crochet: Animal Toy
These cuddly buddies are a great introduction in how to do amigurumi and how to crochet 3-D objects! Pattern includes instructions for 3 softies: a cat, a bunny, and a bear.
Knitting: Scarf
This project combines a keyhole scarf which is knitted end to end, with crocheted thorns. It is topped off with a giant knitted rose and crab stitch border.
