The Kona hat is a basic beanie made for adults. The pattern is fully reversible, and unisex. The design is very beginner friendly, and is a quick hat to knit up. The use of simple knit and purl stitches keeps the design beginner friendly, while making a very interesting wearable.

The beautiful ironwork on the massive gates of old have always been a source of fascination. The amount of effort that has gone into making something not just functional and durable, but also unique and gorgeous, all the while imparting the sense of security that gates are meant to.

While designing this block we faced racism and bigotry coming into the forefront worldwide, and we all joined hands to stand up to it. The link between the cables in this pattern made me think of linking arms to stand together in Solidarity
Crochet: Vest
Palakhya (beet in Sanskrit) gets its name from the lovely colourway of the upcycled Vardhman Millenium yarn in my stash. The previous version was used with a lot of love. But a lack of yarn, being stuck at a non-stash location during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, and a desperate need to design during that time brought about this design.

The design of the second block reminds me a lot of the interlocking chainmail. The linked chains make it look like some are smaller links than the others, giving a different view all around.

This is a cowl designed to show off the beautiful cables and lace design. The pattern is deceptively easy, and is a great project for an adventurous beginner or intermediate knitter.
