Crochet: Toy Food
I designed this My Crochet Kitchen: Chillies pattern in celebration of the first hot peppers my husband and I ever grew together (Nigel’s Outdoor Chilli, if you’re interested).
Crochet: Rug
I was inspired by my time in Verona to capture some of those beautiful sunset tones above the city in this stunning mix of warm yellows, soft pinks and fiery reds.
Crochet: Throw
I designed the High Tide Blanket when my sister was pregnant with her first child. I really wanted to make a special baby blanket because she had such fond memories of her own crocheted comforter as a child, but I had left it a little late for such a (relatively!) large project.
Crochet: Towel, Scrubber, Washcloth / Dishcloth
The Alum Bay three-piece wash set was inspired by the beautiful coast of the Isle of Wight. The three stripes reflect the uniquely colourful mineral-rich sands, which are often layered in bottles as classic keepsakes.
Crochet: Containers
As part of the #hobbiishadesofred challenge, I wanted to create something that could be used beyond February 14th, as an ongoing expression of love.
Crochet: Feet / Legs - Other
These beautiful barefoot sandals are inspired by two things I absolutely love. The first is going without socks or shoes: those who know me are well aware that I rarely wear anything on my feet, and my wedding day was no different! I wore some lovely lacey barefoot sandals, and wanted to recreate some crochet-style ones for more everyday use.
Crochet: Hats - Other, Beanie, Toque
This 3-in-1 pattern sprang from the desire to create two little hats for two special little people one Christmas. They and their parents live much further away than we would like, but I always look forward to sending them a parcel in the post when December comes around with something to bring a bit of cheer and warmth.
Crochet: Animal Toy
This plushie cockatiel pattern started out as a custom order for a fellow bird-loving friend after several years of persistent requests, and turned out to be too cute to make just the one!
Crochet: Sleeveless Top
This little crochet top uses lemon peel stitch (made by alternating basic double and treble crochet stitches) for the main body of the garment. This creates a simple yet elegant textured design that’s dense enough to be worn without another layer underneath.
Crochet: Headband
This cute daisy chain headband works up super quickly, and is a fun project for beginners and advanced crocheters alike. It uses a smaller hook size than the original pattern to create more delicate mini flowers.
