Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
I was looking through magazines one day and came across the cutest knitted wrap. Since I can’t knit, I decided to crochet something like it. Once it was finished, I found that it also makes a wonderful cowl and is amazingly warm!
Crochet: Vest
I needed to find something for my daughter-in-law that would work up quickly but still be fashionable. As I sat there thinking of what I could make, I remembered a knitted vest she had seen one day and decided I’d design one in crochet.
Crochet: Scarf
This scarf came about as a request from my daughter-in-law for an infinity scarf that was “poofy and warm”. I decided to go with a large hook and easy stitches which make this scarf very easy to work up in a very short amount of time and is still stylish enough to wear everyday.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
A customer sent me a photo of a knitted headband and wanted a hat with the same pattern. I had to tell her, “I don’t know how to knit but could make something like it in crochet”. She said ok and I went to work.
Crochet: Cowl, Scarf
My youngest daughter is not a fan of things crocheted but for the past few months that seems to have changed. She came over one day and while sitting in my craft room she started going through all my yarn. She pulled out a couple colors and said “I want a scarf made with these 2 colors.” So, I gave her a couple stitch books to go through to get...
Crochet: Cowl, Scarf
A friend of one of my daughters asked me for a skull scarf but was very specific…she wanted a smiley skull and she didn’t want it to be seen unless she pulled it over her head (like a snood) or opened it to show someone. This is the result of that request.
Crochet: Mittens
My youngest daughter is not a crochet fan so when she requested a scarf made specifically for her, I was thrilled. She was very specific in what she wanted…Isaac Mizrahi yarn and a ‘lighter’ stitch. She didn’t want a bulky looking or bulky feeling scarf. My first thought was ‘wonderful, she picks out a super bulky yarn but wants a light-weight ...

Crochet: Cowl
A couple years ago I learned to clean, dye and spin yarn. I have hoarded it ever since. I finally decided to do something with it. I wanted a stitch that would show off the beautiful colors and textures of handspun yarn as well as something that would be useful and warm. After a few tries, I came up with the Simply Chunky Handspun Scarf. Using ...
Crochet: Booties, Slippers
I wanted a slipper that was both beautiful to look at and able to keep my feet warm during the cold Michigan winters. The star stitch proved to be the perfect solution.
Crochet: Scarf
I absolutely love silk scarves but never wear them so thinking of a way to use them became a bit of an obsession…the result is the scarf sleeve. This pattern is written so you can actually create 2 different sleeves with both allowing for the changing of the actual scarf.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
My girls love wearing hats…doesn’t matter the season, they want to wear hats. So, when my oldest requested a hat that is more open so she can wear it in spring/summer, this was the pattern I came up with. Because of the stretch to this design, the same hat will fit multiple sizes.
Crochet: Purse / Handbag
I love purses! The idea for this bag originated with my favorite type of purse…big and open…so while I can fit the things I think I have to have in them, I can also tuck in a crochet project too.
Crochet: Purse / Handbag
The inspiration for this wonderful crossbody bag came about while testing the Punky hats and wristlets designed by Janaya of Charmed By Ewe.
Crochet: Scarf
The Simply Scrumptious Springtime Scarf was created with novelty/specialty yarns in mind. I wanted a nice easy pattern that could use all those beautiful yarns that as crocheters we just have to have and then don’t use.
Crochet: Purse / Handbag
Ever have one of those nights when your brain just won’t shut down? After thinking all day about wanting a new purse, I ended up designing a purse rather than sleeping. Eventually I gave up on sleep, got up and started crocheting and scratching notes as I went.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
Looks like a granny but its not! With the help of some wonderful testers, this pattern is written so even the beginning crocheter can understand, follow and produce a gorgeous new hat!
Crochet: Electronics Cozy
While I wrote this pattern as a cover or my Kindle Fire, this pattern is very versatile. You can use any size yarn and any size hook to cover any thing from a cell phone to a laptop.
Crochet: Accessories - Other
This pattern was designed for a wonderful friend expecting her first grandchild and my desire to supply her with something not only useful but beautiful for either a boy or a girl.
Crochet: Headband
This thick and warm headband can be made from 2 strands of worsted weight yarn or by using 2 or more strands of novelty yarn…the choice is yours!
Crochet: Headband
This pattern came about as a customer request for a neck warmer that could also be pulled up and used as an ear warmer when she was outside putting children on the bus.
Crochet: Cloche Hat
This pattern was written to match the Angelique Dress created by Crafting Friends and I want to thank her for permission and help in the testing of this pattern.
