Half the fun is choosing colour combinations! I have done this in autumn-y hues as well as bright colours and love them both.

Using worsted weight yarn and a 4.5mm hook, size of the square is app. 6”, with instructions for a 7” square.

Cinnamon Suzie requires worsted weight yarn, stuffing, and 4 1/2” doll head/hands set. Some small trims for buttons--or embroider ‘buttons’ instead.

I’ve used a 3.75mm-4mm hook and sportweight yarn, or for a slightly larger bag, a 4.5mm hook and worsted weight yarn. Bags (with sportweight) are app. 4” tall x 2.5” wide measured flat (10 x 6cm).

A bit of ghoulish fun for Hallowe’en! Pattern includes instructions for a dismembered finger and big toe. Worked in size 10 thread, they are app. the size of an adult woman’s finger/toe. For a larger size, use yarn and a suitable hook.

I had such fun coming up with yet another toilet paper cover that doesn’t look like a toilet paper cover.

Another toilet paper cover that does not look like one. Mrs. Claus hides a double roll of tissue under her skirt. Worsted weight yarn, polyester stuffing and some small trims.

These Chalkboard and Garden Trellis ‘mugs’ made great teacher gifts. Once finished, insert a clean 28 oz aluminum can, fill with candy/pencils. Chalkboard mug can be personalized with dimensional fabric paint ‘chalk’.

Each favour is crocheted around a cube base cut from a piece of styrofoam packaging.

This set of shower favours is quick and easy to make up! Baby in basket or baby in blanket, both done in worsted weight yarn. Requires polyester filling, small beads or embroidery floss for eyes. Not a child’s toy.

A fun hat to wear for Hallowe’en dress up, or whenever you’re in a grumpy mood! Snot drip of course, is optional!

Although designed with Paton’s Astra sportweight yarn, you could use worsted weight yarn and an F or G hook for a slightly larger doll.

For 4 1/2” fashion dolls, this set to crochet using size 10 thread includes instructions for both bathing suits, beach ball, ‘rubber’ ducky ring and ‘floating’ raft lounger. Does also require: small styrofoam ball (or use stuffing) for beach ball and pieces of drinking straw for raft.

This idea hit me out of the blue, I do love those ones! After designing a beach fun set for 4 1/2” fashion dolls, I realized that they needed MORE, and so was born the wading pool and ‘inflatable’ palm tree set. (Please note, tree does not really inflate, it is filled with polyester stuffing)

This mini mannequin measures 4 1/2” made with size 10 thread, and was designed to model some of the clothes I’ve designed for 4 1/2” fashion dolls. Although they will fit some of the outfits, not all outfits will fit due to their larger feet.

These would look so cute worked holding an eyelash yarn with worsted weight for a fuzzier doll! Quick and easy to make up.

Although pattern calls for worsted weight cotton or acrylic, other weights can certainly be used, just use an appropriate size hook for your yarn choice.

Make these up in worsted weight cotton. Pattern set includes instructions for placemat, coaster and dishcloth. As with my free pattern for a barefoot fridgie, the brighter the yarn, the better!

The snowman is crocheted to cover a plastic/glass container. Hide candy inside, or, as shown in the picture, use a battery operated tealight to give the snowman his glowing belly!

The second in what I hope will be a ‘line’ of animal gift bags, the zebra can be made with a hanging loop to make an unconventional Christmas stocking, or use as an every occasion gift bag. Stuff and sew the top closed for a fun pillow.
