Knitting: Throw
This blanket is wonderful to make especially during the cold months in the Upper MidWest and New England during winter. The repetitve stitch pattern is easy to memorize and the I-cord edging gives a very nice, clean edge only leaving end-weaving for the finishing.
Knitting: Cowl
Using this fun colorway of Morph, you should be able to make 2 cowls out of one Gradient kit. 1/2 oz per color. The excitement of adding the next color makes it hard to put this down.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Using a hitched stitch, which is the half linen stitch in the round, you will find the hand dyed technique creates a very unique design. The softness and gauge allows this lovely slouch to have exquisite drape. Try adding a pom to give it more drape would be a lovely addition.
Knitting: Cardigan
The basics of this sweater would lend itself to an EXCELLENT first sweater. All the pieces are rectangles, sewn together then picking up stitches for the lovely shawl collar.

Working with this luscious yarn is a pleasure in itself…and running it thru your fingers is divine!
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Using any color sequence you desire gives you freedom to go wild! I chose 6 colors and repeated 3 of them to be able to stay in the theme of my Beatles’ song “Number 9, Number 9, Number 9”!
Knitting: Cowl
The pinstripe texturing of this cowl is beautiful with this yarn. Color depth on Merino Textura plays very well in this texture.
Knitting: Pullover
This is a very simple design of 4 panels with neckline shaping. Sew together down the center with WS facing to achieve the raised seams. Collar and ‘sleeves’ are picked u an d knit to alleviate so much sewing construction to complete the garment. The size of the garment is exaggerated for comfort and to accommodate several body types.
Knitting: Cowl
Playing with these hand dyed yarns by MJ Yarns are luscious. The semi solid red for the main color that is slipped frames the beauty of the colorway called Joseph (think dreamcoat!)
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is a wonderful little piece that is worked side to side, starting each piece from the outside and meeting in the middle for a 3-needle bind off at the center back.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Start knitting this tonight on a size 7 needle and you will be finished before the night is thru. Very cute, easy and rewarding. Make a couple of them and have them on hand for that baby shower!
