Darlene designed this cowl as part a MKAL during the pandemic. It is the winter 2020 edition.

Knitting: Cowl
This cowl is the sequel to the cowl Darlene originally designed this a MKAL during quarantine. This time she used a jazz quartet as her inspiration. Join us and play along!

Knitting: Cowl
Darlene originally designed this cowl for a MKAL during quarantine. Since a quartet is made of 4 musical instructments, she used 4 colors and 4 stitch patterns. Join us and play along!

Knitting: Scarf
I originally designed this as a “Surprise Sequence Sampler Scarf” to help people “chill” during the quarantine. I hope everyone enjoyed getting the clues each week and now I would like to offer it to anyone who missed it.

Knitting: Washcloth / Dishcloth
I designed this facecloth as a Mystery KAL for my store, Mosaic Yarn Studio.

Crochet: Scarf
This beautiful box stitch incorporates only two rows and drapes beautifully in Berroco Medina yarn. Other similar drapey dk weight yarns would look good too. To make a narrow scarf, cast on any odd number.

Knitting: Cowl
Kate Joyce originally designed this pattern for the Chicago Yarn Crawl 2017. It uses a fun star stitch pattern and garter sections.

Crochet: Cowl
This cowl was originally designed for the Chicago Yarn Crawl 2017. It is quite simple using double crochet and chain ones. Any light worsted weight yarn would work.

Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
This shawl was a project for our 2017 Retreat, “Design Your Own Side-to-Side Shawl”. One size given, but can customize by adding more repeats or increasing yarn weight and hook size. I used 3 skeins of Koigu KPPPM and 1 skein of Koigu KPM. If you do not get gauge and your crochet loose, you may need 4 skeins of the main color (Koigu KPPPM).

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
June designed this shawl for Mosaic Yarn Studio’s 2016 Fall Retreat, Design Your Own Side-to-Side Shawl.

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Kate designed this chunky shawl as a sample for Mosaic Yarn Studio’s 2016 Retreat. The theme of the retreat was “Side to Side Shawls”. Directions are written out and are clear.

Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
I originally designed this shawl for the 2016 Chicago Yarn Crawl. It is very easy lace using primarily double crochets.

Knitting: Cowl
This cowl is great for a fast easy gift. Please note the stitch number does change on Row 2. Enjoy!

Knitting: Scarf
This neck wrap can be worn a number of different ways! Choose your favorite jumbo buttons and you will be done in an evening!

Knitting: Mittens
This mitten pattern, knit from the cuff to the tip, is made interesting through the addition of an 8-row cable. Gauge and size information is not given; depending on the yarn used and needle size, one could knit anywhere from adult’s small (with DK yarn) to adult’s large (aran or bulky).

Knitting: Cowl
I made this lacy cowl to promote the beautiful Cashmere Merino Silk yarn. It is so soft and fun to wear!

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
An asymmetrical buttoned wrap inspired by Teva Durham’s “gestalt” knitting class, using the natural edges of the charted pattern to inform the shape of the finished garment.

Knitting: Cowl
Simple. Simple. Simple. I designed this very easy cowl for my beginning knitting class. It soon became popular with all my customers. You can choose a different bulky yarn or carry a worsted together with a sport to get a unique look. Experiment and have fun!

Knitting: Vest
I designed this patchwork vest after taking a workshop. I love that the back and front are different. Choose 10 colors of Shetland DK and cast on!
