Gerua is the name of the colour of the sample hat in Hindi, a burnt orange colour. Its the wonderful deep burnt orange colour that I was drawn to. Its the perfect pattern for a fun textured cabled hat.

Making this pattern had a calming effect on me. It is intuitive and engrossing. With this Covid situation I have been needing things that distract me from reality and give me a sense of accomplishment. This hat fits the bill and the wonderful Drops yarn definitely helps.

Dhriti is a Sanskrit word meaning “strength”.  Strength we need to get past our daily obstacles, strength to face the day or maybe just to get out of bed.

Water can give life and take away.

Sawi is a fun hat with lots of texture. I made this with my favourite mustard colour. You can see the projects made by my wonderful testers too. You will get to see how the hat works up with different yarns and different colours.

The hat is made top down. We will slowly make increases to reach the desired circumference and then continue to make the beautiful baubles that adorn the hat. The hat can be made longer if you desire a slouchier look.

A unique stitch pattern combined with a little color work makes for a beautiful textured hat for the winter. The interlocked stitches will make a hat with less stretch but a very snug hug for your head.

Anaia is a very warm double layer cowl made with fingering yarn. The two layers make the cowl soooo cozy and snug.

Rusticated is a wonderful textured hat with beautiful puff stitches to give the hat a stylish yet rustic look.

Steady Ripple is a long rectangular shawl with gorgeous fringes. It is long, very long. You could make it even longer.

A pretty two coloured shawl, Roses and Thorns is a simple shawl with a unique construciton.

Narangi is crocheted from one side. Increases are made followed by decreases to give its lovely shape. The edging is made along the shawl so no separate effort.

Emerald Wave is a warm wrap for the cold weather. It can be worn on its own with a sweater or underneath your gorgeous coat.

Sombre is crocheted top down. Eyelets are added along the way to give this shawl its simple yet elegant look. Once blocked the shawl has a lovely drape.
