Oh, the 1980’s America. A land of rainbow everything, children riding without helmets after dark, sweet giant eyeglasses, all-synthesizer scores composed by movie directors, and creeping otherwordly horror possibly brought about by a government conspiracy. These socks are for you.

Cables rise up the foot and branches of a sinister tree curl around the ankle of this sock named for the site of execution of witches in the Salem Witch Trials.

This sock was inspired by watching too much Sam Spade. The art deco-inspired foot comes up into tendrils of smoke wafting up the leg.

My husband loves his toe shoes, and despite the fact that he doesn’t need to wear socks with them, he often will choose to do so. As a result, he needed close-fitting toe socks. Having looked to find a men’s laceweight toe sock pattern and coming up empty, I designed my own.

This sock was designed as a gift to my friend Scott for his wedding. The traveling stitches and cabled columns are meant to suggest the ASCII art “metal hand” - \m/.

This sock, which takes it’s name for a friend’s handle on RC.com, uses cables to create a figure-8 and stopper knot design for the rock climber in your life.
