I like easy socks, with enough of an interesting pattern to keep me from being bored. This is what I came up with for Sock Sniper 2014.

This pattern is a representation of various fences I pass when I go to my spinners’ annual meeting at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill near Harrodsburg, KY. It is always a peaceful and relaxing weekend, full of fun and fellowship with some wonderful people.

I like knitting socks, but wanted something simple without being just plain stockinette. This was my answer to the situation. These socks can be knit using your favorite sock yarn, solid, tonal, or variegated. Use needles to give you gauge, and have fun!
