Simple knits and purls make up the diamond pattern on this worsted weight hat. For a more subtle look, try a woolen spun yarn such as Brooklyn Tweed Shelter. To give the stitches more pop, use a worsted spun yarn in a light, solid color.

When I first squished this lovely Fibernymph yarn, I knew I wanted to create a shawl that I could just throw on during the heat of the summer when I entered a buildingʼs cool air conditioning. I designed this shawl to be a totally reversible piece, just in case I didnʼt have time to style it before meeting family or friends.

Ketterdam is an asymmetric shawl. One side has bound off ridges while the other edge has an attached cable edging. Simple enough for taking to knit night or an event but complicated enough to look fabulous in semi solid and short variegated repeat yarns including speckles.

Sock pattern from the Camp KIP 2011 goodie bag. If you received the pattern as a booklet at Camp KIP, pages 2 and 3 were reversed in the printing process. Page 2 contains the cuff pattern chart and leg directions. Simple cables and lace combine with ribbing for a lovely top-down sock.
