Knitting: Scarf
Here is the second of the 2 scarves I designed on my summer vacation - pattern gives instructions for a fine 2/30 lace weight yarn (Lady Katie) or a fingering weight (ShaSha) so you can make the ‘look’ that fits you best. Scarf is made in 2 sections and grafted in the middle. This is a nice and easy pattern if you are new to lace, or a fun knit...

Knitting: Scarf
Here is a scarf I started on my summer vacation fishing and camping in northern MN on the Echo Trail. It is easily adapted to both fingering and lace weight yarns. A fun knit - lace and nupps - something different going on all the time - so boredom (my constant enemy) does not set in! Enjoy.

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Dedicated to my new friend in Estonia - Inga R who was the source of my recently acquired Pitsilised Koekirjad. So many times I knit large triangles for the process, but I never wear them. Thus I created a smaller triangle which will suit my wearing needs better - it can be worn alone over a blouse or sweater, can be used to dress up a blazer -...

Knitting: Mittens
Ever want to try twisted sts? Here is a small pattern to practice! These mitts have optional instructions for lining them without bulk for really warm, cosy mitts. Ability to knit from charts - otherwise a pretty straight forward pattern. There may be an error in Chart B - on the first row - if you have a chart with a blank ‘box’ - it should be...
