Fingerless mitts are my favorite fast gift knit. They keep my hands warm while still allowing me to knit or draw. In colder months, I layer them with a set of thin gloves or heavy mitts for an extra layer of warmth.

To fashion its unusual shape, this shawl is worked top down from one corner with increases every row along one edge. The basic textures—a mix of ribs and welts—create interest and show off a semisolid yarn.

This cowl is knit flat to enhance the asymmetrical stripes in bold colours.

This graceful, curved scarf/wrap is constructed of asymmetrical stripes in bold colours. Two sets of instructions are provided for each size, with options for the order muppet and chaos muppet in all of us.

Pattern note:

Pattern includes instructions for 3 different shapes: Rectangle, Bias Rectangle and Elongated Triangle. Size can be adjusted easily to suit your preferences and the amount of yarn you have to work with. A minimum of 650 yards is recommended (Minimum 1000 yards for the bias rectangle)
