Knitting: Cardigan
Here is a baby raglan with a pretty lace collar. Use a 2 sizes larger needle for the collar so it will lie flatter. To help my customers learn to design things themselves using elements from other patterns, I designed this for a “Baby Workshop” we held at my shop. There are also booties and a hat to match. Enjoy.
Knitting: Cowl
Make this cute cowl with any combination of stash yarn, or the new Berroco yarn Tasting Kit for Fall 2023/Winter 2024. The general concept is: something soft and cosy for the neckline (yarn 1), and something kinda chunky for the final section & bind off (yarn 4).

Knitting: Scarf
It’s called “Le” Scarf or Le Shawl because it’s shaped like a big “L”. You will love the way it naturally drapes, and can be made in any size at all, depending how many stitches you cast on. You can tell when to switch to the 2nd half: when you have used approx half of your yarn, then it’s time for the bend and going the other way. You will als...
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
Check out this all size Unisex hat pattern; it is shaped on top and not gathered like most, so there is not all that extra bulk. Also looks like rib knit and is nice & stretchy. Looks good with or without a pompom. Fun to make.
Knitting: Purse / Handbag
The easiest felting project on a circular needle. Quick, too.
Knitting: Purse / Handbag
This is the easiest and smartest looking felted bag I have ever made. Just cast on 48 or 56 with your big needles, then go round and round in a simple rib design. Sew the bottom then felt minimally. Add any handles and you are READY TO ROVE.
Knitting: Scarf
Made this a couple years ago to “copy” one I saw, made by a good friend & customer. She won a ribbon in a scarf contest for hers, hence the name. I will post a pattern…as if you need one!
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These gloves can be knitted on circular, straight needles or on DPNs. The ruffle makes people think you are something special. If you can knit gloves, YOU ARE! Have fun!
Knitting: Booties
Inspired by Kelly Brooker’s Seventh Baby Hat, these booties will look great on any little boy or girl. Quick and easy to make for Newborns or 6 month old tots! I have made them several times, plus the hat, and you can make a hat & a pair of booties from ONE ball of Plymouth Baby Alpaca Cherish.
Knitting: Vest
This rib looks “inside out” and calls attention to itself without taking center stage away from great self-striping yarn. I have made this with Noro Kureyon, Silk Garden, Plymouth Boku. It knits up quick & easy.
Knitting: Scarf
This is the easiest artsy, yet not amatuerish-looking scarf I have ever seen, and it can be made into a shawl, or afghan as well. Use up all those scraps so you can buy more yarn! Yeah!
Knitting: Toys and Hobbies - Other
This is a fun way to use the yarns in the Spring 2021 Berroco Yarn Tasting Kit. The chunkiest one is crocheted into a little basket shape, and then swatches of each of the 5 others become the “laundry”. Stitch patterns are (mostly) taken from Berroco’s own pattern designs. Cute!
