Crochet: Hanging Ornament
A fun project that uses just a bit of #10 crochet cotton or pearle cotton embroidery floss.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
Nemea was a city in Ancient Greece. It was the location of one of the four separate sports festivals that were part of the Panhellenic Games. Those festivals were the precursor to the modern Olympics.

I’m a geek at heart and love working the Fibonacci sequence into my patterns. Each number in the sequence is the sum of the two preceding numbers. While people recognize it as a mathematical principle, the numbers also appear in nature, for example, in arrangements of leaves on a stem, a pineapple’s fruit sprouts, and pine cone bracts. The prog...

“Sunny Honey” because the color is Sunshine and the stitch pattern is Honeycomb.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
Space Cadet yarn is, well, out of this world! Looking down at the crown of the hat, you see a spiral similar to those shown in photographs of nebula.
Crochet: Cowl
Space Cadet yarn is, well, out of this world! Once you put on the finished cowl, you’ll enjoy the way it “orbits” your neck.

This semi-circular shawl has multiple increase points to allow it to sit on the shoulders without slipping. It can be worn with the middl...

I love the look of triangle shaped shawls using gradient yarn, but wanted something that had the same width, but less depth. I visualized hacking off the bottom of a triangle, leaving a saw tooth edge. The pattern is set up to use separate skeins of yarn instead of a continuous gradient skein, allowing you to customize your creation.
Crochet: Cowl
I love patterns that have a lot of texture. The solid stripes, formed by the single crochet stitches, coil upward and to the left while the chain stitches that form the open stripes appear to coil upward and to the right.

Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
I developed this crochet pattern to mimic boomerang knit shawls, but when it was done, I realized it looked more like a sail filled with wind than a boomerang.
