Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Thank you to my wonderful testers for all of their hard work! You guys rock! You have my eternal gratitude!
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat was an experiment to see if I could work a lace pattern using the uknit stitch instead of true knit. And it worked! The Flexee Looms work wonderfully for lace stitching, as the pegs tend to “give” just enough to allow for movement of stitches, even if the stitches are tight.
Knitting: Cowl
I was so excited when the Flexee Loom came out! I immediately sat down and designed this cowl. I wanted something lacy and open - mostly to test out how the loom would handle the lace stitches. I’m very impressed with these looms and highly recommend them!
Crochet: Cowl
This is my very first Tunisian Crochet Design! This idea came about because of my love of the Tunisian Purl Stitch. I wanted to combine purl and simple stitch to create something eye catching and textured and this is the result!
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
Directionality was born from boredom and isolation, as is most of my designs as of late. Too much time on my hands. :}
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
This is my second design for loom knitting! I wanted a pair of fingerless gloves that were colorful without having to actually knit a colorwork pattern. (Lazy!)
Knitting: Cowl
This is my very first design for loom knitting! I’m pretty excited! This cowl came about when I began searching for cowl patterns here on Ravelry, and found lots of them, but they all were worked in the round over many stitches. I prefer to knit on round looms, not rectangular, so I decided to design a cowl that could be worked on less stitches...
Crochet: Drawstring Bag
I wanted a design that showcased crochet cables and I think I came up with a good example!
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
Note: I have updated the pattern to reflect a couple of errors found in the original PDF. Please download the newer copy. And sorry for the errors!
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
In the Summer of 2009, I took a hiatus from knitting. Was just too busy outside with the kids, and had lost interest in knitting. But when I finally picked up the needles again, these socks were created! The Zing Stitch is easy to memorize - and the socks practically knit themselves!
Crochet: Cowl
From the designer: I had 2 skeins of Patons SWS in my stash - and I wanted to use it - but on what? Well, a crochet cowl pattern, of course! :) Relatively easy pattern - but the yarn does all the work! :)
Crochet: Scarf
Super easy pattern - only one Row to memorize and only uses about 380 yards (or less) of a sock weight yarn! Although, any yarn would do for this pattern! Works up fast! And would be awesome in a cotton yarn for Spring! :)
Crochet: Cowl
I wanted something frilly and girly - and definitely Spring-like! I stitched this up rather quickly - in a couple of hours - and used less than 230 yards! If you have more yardage to give, you can make all the ruffles long and even more frilly than mine! :)
Knitting: Tote
This pattern is now a free Ravelry download! I have listed 2 different yarns you can use - and the yardage required is based on how many colors you decide to add!
Knitting: Scarf
I submitted this to knitty.com for their September 2008 issue and almost made it! :) I love the pattern and wanted to share it!
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This shawl was fun to create! And it did make top ten in Elann.com’s Shawl Contest from last year! :) But it didn’t win…
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
I wanted a lacy, dainty glove. And something light to wear this summer. And I think I did it! I love these lady-like, elegant gloves. I will probably make another pair this summer in a 100% cotton. :)
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
I did these because I wanted a project to show off crochet cable stitches! They are very soft and warm - and have a spot for the thumb! :) I’m happy with them, although some improvements in the design probably could be made! It was my first try making a pair with a spot for the thumb!
