If you are going to use this pattern for a scarf or adding the illusion to a hat you can use any yarn. But always remember the illusion shows up much better when the illusion part is done in a darker color than the top color. hope you enjoy them. Your creativity is not limited to a dish cloth with these.

If you have never knitted an illusion or Shadow pattern here is a chance to try it out. They are fun to knit because you don’t see the pattern while knitting, You must lay it down walk away and look back at it. They are fun to knit and very easy to knit also.
