I love creative dishcloths. So much more fun than boring squares!

This pattern uses a provisional cast on and requires minimal crochet knowledge (there is some single crochet action to make the ruffle).

This pattern was submitted to Knitty for the Winter 2007 edition and was gently declined. In the event that I’m not the only person who might want an apron with cupcake pockets (or without them! They’re optional), I wanted to share my pattern here. Enjoy!
