Knitting: Cowl
Plaid always reminds me of parochial school. It is reminiscent of Autumn, newly sharpened pencils and marbled wide-ruled composition notebooks. It is fresh start as well as a homecoming . Every school had their own plaid pattern, but somehow they were all the same, just different colors.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This pattern was designed to take full advantage of the beauty of this gorgeous Mad Hatter yarn by Frabjous Fibers. I didn’t want to waste a single inch of this scrumptious yarn! It is a simple garter stitch wrap with knitted on fringe, alternating a solid with a gradient. The resulting wrap is eye-catching and cozy.
Knitting: Hanging Ornament
Monkey Balls is a fun sock monkey Christmas tree ornament. A ball shape is knitted and stuffed. An I-cord hanger is knitted on and knitted ears and mouth are attached. Button eyes complete the face. It is a great way to use up little bits of yarn, and guaranteed to bring a smile to all!
