Designer’s description: This scarf is a perfect introduction to lace knitting. Believe it or not, there are only 3 different rows in this zig-zag stitch pattern! The use of sock yarn also helps to make lace less intimidating. Instructions are given for a scarf with or without beads. Beaded version takes 255 beads.

Lima is an exquisitely soft alpaca blend. Its i-cord-like construction looks surprisingly wonderful in cables. This cowl is buttery soft, warm despite its eyelet stitch pattern, and has terrific drape.
