FELIX THE FOX, RINGO RACCOON AND “OWL” BE YOUR BUDDY PILLOW COVERS!
These pillow covers will make the perfect addition to your child’s room! The pillow cover is designed to be removable, allowing you to remove it for easy washing!
Use the optional strap instructions to make this an exciting bag that is ideal for packing away everything needed for a sleepover!
Please exercise both caution and common sense. Infants and younger children should not have throw pillows (or any pillow) in their beds while sleeping as it could cause suffocation.
FELIX THE FOX:
Materials needed:
-1360-1700 yards of worsted weight yarn (you will hold 2 strands together throughout the pattern) in your main color. I used Vanna’s Choice in Rust. You will also need 2 skeins of worsted weight in white, and a small amount in black (for the nose).
-small amount of Bernat Tizzy
-K (6.5mm) hook, G (4.25mm) hook
-(2) 0.75” black buttons for the eyes and (1) 1” button for the closure.
-a small amount of poly-fill stuffing used for the tail
-16”x16” pillow insert
With several photo tutorials throughout the pattern, even a determined beginner can make one of these over the course of a weekend. This is a fairly big project at 16”x16” and you will love the versatility of the design! Use the optional strap instructions to make this an exciting bag that is ideal for packing away everything needed for a sleepover!
RINGO RACCOON:
Materials Needed: 440 yards of Bulky Weight #5 yarn, K hook (6.5mm), (2) 0.5” black buttons, (1) 1” button, poly-fill stuffing, 14” x 14” pillow insert.
OWL BE YOUR BUDDY:
This pattern requires 425 yards of #5 bulky yarn (Loops and Threads Charisma is recommended), a K(6.5mm)hook and an I (5.5mm)hook. You will also need small amounts of white, black, orange and green worsted weight #4 yarn for the facial features. A 14”x14” pillow insert fits perfectly inside to use this as a pillow cover!
