In 2014, I launched the sock monkey, a knitting pattern line with designs that interest, challenge, excite, and inspire the modern knitter.
My design influences have their roots in parallel lines and architecture; books and symmetry; food and color; white space and culture.
I firmly believe in wool and small farm yarns, something I actively promote to the fiber producers in my Southern Idaho farming town.
I believe that it is important to give back to the community that I have gotten so much from, which is why I design pretty much exclusively with independently-produced or domestically-produced yarns.
