The 2023 Tiki Collection features 5 designs - 3 hats, a cowl and a pair of mitts. I’ve updated not only the format and level of detail, but I’ve also played with the sizing and the yarn used in a few of them.

However, I really do love the original versions, so I have not taken those pics off the patterns. They stay :smiley:

These designs focus on bright color, deep texture, and bold details. They really get me thinking of spring flowers and lush gardens. I tried to take the vibrant feeling of a tropical tiki bar and translate it into some fun projects to get through the last push of winter.

I always think accessories are the way to go after finishing up that last winter sweater. I find I need a little break and some quick, satisfying projects before casting on for another sweater - be it a summer one or my first one for the next season.

This collection is also a great excuse to try a new yarn or use up some stray skeins, since most of these could be knit with a skein or two of something you didn’t get to sweater up over the last few months.
