Notes
When working the Hat you may wish to lessen the jog that naturally forms when you change colors in the round. I have done this by knitting into the stitch below on the first stitch of the second round of a given color (this occurs on the first stitch of round 2 and round 7 in the Charts.)
The Mittens have a couple of rounds where the 2nd color isn’t used on one side (the top of the hand) and it will have to be carried. I recommend weaving it in (as for stranded knitting) a few times over that portion of the knitting.
