Making a wardrobe for a girl’s doll is a chance to inspire a child’s imaginary playtime. Whether a futuristic super hero, a fairy tale princess or mermaid, a cake baker or hula dancer, these outfits are sure to add colorful variety to time spent with dolls.

We encourage you to let the doll’s owner help decide which outfits you knit and crochet and even what colors of yarn to use. Some of the items may be easy enough for older children to make for their own doll (with your assistance). It would be nice if these designs inspire the next generation to become knitters and crocheters when they grow up (maybe even a designer)!
