On a clear and warm evening Barina stood perched upon her favorite hill gazing at the stars through her telescope. Star gazing was one of her favorite things to do on a balmy summer night. Ursa major and minor twinkled in the distance guiding lost and weary travelers and uniting star crossed lovers. The sky was illuminated by the warm glow of the Full Buck Moon.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzewwwwww a fleeting shooting star zipped before Barina’s eyes. “ Oh a shooting star!! Time to make a wish! “ Barina exclaimed. “ I wish to learn about the great wonders of space the stars and all the magical things the universe has to offer! “ With the words spoken, another shooting star zipped across the telescope’s lens.
How bizarre!! Two shooting stars in one night!’How lucky can 1 girl get? Barina continued to peruse the sky and settled on the moon. It was a glistening sphere lighting up the night sky. As Barina watched the sky she thought she saw something move! On the Moon!! She pulled away from the telescope and rubbed her eyes. My eyes must be playing tricks on me! Again she looked through the lens and again she saw something move. Now we have all heard the old fairy tale that there is a man in the moon. We’ve giggled and thought what a funny little story. Now Barina continued to watch and noticed that the movement she saw WAS something and not just something but someone! Now just when she thought this could be no more incredible, not only was she looking at the man in the moon, there were two!!! Things were about to get really spacey.
