Notes
The Fran Crochet Blanket is proof that simplicity is often the most direct path to sophistication. With this clever combination of simple stitches worked in a single colour, you will create a handsome blanket that is a timeless classic. One large motif is complemented by four smaller variations on the theme. Together, they will add warmth and texture to any room in your home.
Because Fran is made in a single colour, the detailed stitch work is the star of the show. There is no need to fuss with changing colour, and fewer ends to weave in when you’re done. Choose your favourite colour of DK or worsted weight yarn to make a blanket you’ll cherish for years.
The ebook includes;
- a written pattern (you choose UK or US terms),
- charts for each square motif,
- a link to video showing all rounds for all squares,
- round by round photos
- extensive round by round help joining and border instructions
Blanket size
The finished blanket measures a generous 68” (173 cm) square.
You will need
I used Bendigo Woollen Mills 10 ply cotton yarn in “French Navy” colourway. You’ll need 3,240 metres (3,544 yards) of 10 ply cotton/worsted weight. If you’re using 8 ply or DK, I estimate you’ll need 3,100 metres (3,390 yards).
