MITTENS

These mittens complement any outfit, but they pair exceptionally well with our Forager Ruana and Forager Snood.
Instructions are provided for adult sizes, and we’ve included notes on how to make adjustments. You can also make these mittens with Fingering/4ply weight yarn for kids.

• Adult Unisex sizes S (M, L)/ 18 (20, 22)cm/ 7 ⅛ (7 ⅞, 8 ¾)’’ palm circumference.
• Width x Length: 8 (9, 10)cm x 24.5(25.5, 27)cm/ 3 ⅛ (3 ½, 4)’’ x 9 ⅝(10, 10 ⅝)’’

Recommended materials:

• Yarn: DK/ #3/ 8ply such as:

• Scheepjes Terrazzo (70% Recycled Mulesing Free Wool x 30% Recycled Viscose, 50g/ 175m/ 191.4yds)

• Yarn1 (background): 2 skeins/ 55(60, 70)g in 720/ Sangria

• Yarn2 (contrast): 1 skein/ 24(25, 28)g in 756 Guscio d’uovo

Other materials and tools:

• Crochet hook 4mm or size to obtain gauge, 4 stitch markers

COWL/ SNOOD:

Forager snood will complement any outfit, especially if paired with our Forager Mittens. Wool is a perfect fiber to keep you warn and cozy on cold days, but if it feels rough against your skin, try lining the snood with flannel of fleece fabric.
