This ‘Fantasy Land’ e-book contains 6 designs - a frog prince, unicorn, rainbow girl, cupid bear, fairy and a mermaid!
The designs are easy - intermediate patterns written in English using US (American) terminology. They include detailed instructions in an easy to follow layout but a knowledge of basic crochet stitches and techniques used to make amigurumi is essential.
Your tension, yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of your finished items. I have used DK yarn (light worsted) and if you use thicker yarn, you will make larger toys!
You will receive one PDF file which requires software like Adobe Reader to open (this is free to download).
Please contact me immediately if you have purchased this e-book thinking it is an actual toy as I do not process refunds after the PDF file has been downloaded.
You will need:
8ply or DK yarn
2.5mm hook (or your usual hook for the yarn weight)
Black and white embroidery thread
Scissors
Tapestry needle
Polyester toy stuffing
Stitch marker (optional)
Safety eyes (7-8mm)
Notes:
Amigurumi is usually worked in the round and a yarn with no stretch is best.
When changing colour, pull through the new colour on the stitch before you need it. This will ensure that you have the correct colour yarn on the hook for the upcoming stitch.
Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you want the stitches tight.
